BARCELONA

Before returning home, I took the opportunity to visit the second largest city in Spain Barcelona, famous for street entertainers, flower shops and bird sellers along Las Ramblas, the mile-long pedestrian mall in the heart of the old section of the city. I also visited some of the Modernisme buildings of the famous architect, Antoní Gaudí, and his masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia cathedral, still under construction.
